We fight to improve the lives
of everyone affected by epilepsy

I am going to take the plunge (literally) and do a skydive in memory of my brother. He died from SUDEP 7 years ago now and I felt it was time I gave fundraising a go. My brother Nathan was only 21 when he left us, he had been desperate for surgery as we all knew his seizures were getting worse but sadly he had a “pre surgery appointment” letter too late,he had already been gone 2 weeks. I grew up to view his seizures as just something Nath did, however I always felt there was a real lack of awareness amongst others not in my family circle. This is why I have chosen to fundraise for Epilepsy Action, as I feel that whatever I raise will make a difference to someone somewhere. So, I am off to Australia to visit my sister in August and thought THIS IS IT!Skydive here I come! I’m very nervous but it pleases me to know it’s for such a worthy cause.
