We exist to improve the lives

Epilepsy Action and research

Why we do epilepsy research

Research is essential! It helps us find out more about the causes of epilepsy, develop new treatments, understand issues that affect people with epilepsy and hopefully, one day, lead to a cure.

We support a wide range of activities from funding research studies, to offering opportunities for patients and the public to get involved in the research process.
