We fight to improve the lives
of everyone affected by epilepsy

Welcome to our virtual groups

Our virtual groups are a great way of connecting with others who have experiences of epilepsy, in a safe and relaxed environment.  We know that before COVID 19 many of you took comfort from meeting others living with epilepsy through our branches and coffee and chat groups.

As we aren't currently able to offer that support, we've been working hard to find new ways to help you stay connected to other people who understand.

Our virtual groups are open to anyone living with epilepsy in the UK who is over 18 years old. You might be living with epilepsy yourself, or you might be a parent or carer of someone living with epilepsy.

Each virtual group runs in a similar way to our existing face-to-face groups.  People will join the group and will meet others in a confidential online setting. The difference between our face-to-face groups and the online group is that it will be delivered using a Zoom video call.  We will send you some helpful instructions on using Zoom when you register for an online group. You don’t need any special equipment – just a tablet, laptop or mobile phone with a camera and an internet connection!

Just click on the Epilepsy Action logo below to see when the groups are happening and register to attend.

We also have virtual groups specific to Epilepsy Action Northern Ireland and Epilepsy Action Cymru. You can click on the logo below to see when these are happening and register to attend.

"The group helped me to regain my confidence, accept my epilepsy and understand it"
"Feeling supported and knowing others understand, this gives a sense and feeling of wellbeing"

Under 18? The Epilepsy Space is our new site for 16-25 year olds to help you manage your epilepsy.
